Ocean Shores Library
The Ocean Shores Library was established in 1972. Now located at 573 Point Brown Avenue N.W., the new 4000 sq. ft. building opened in July of 1993. Librarian Judy Stull heads a staff of three along with seven volunteers. At present the collection consists of 16700 volumes, 330 videos, and 200 books on tape. The Library is open Monday through Saturday, 44 hours a week. The 1996 circulation was 30,446. The Library is governed by a five member Board of Trustees, which meets the third Thursday of each month, 3:30 p.m. at the Library. Library services include voter registration, public access computer, typewriter, and a public meeting room.
